The crosslinked relationship between the human microbiome and the body’s hematopoiesis has been observed in murine studies. This short review explores the emerging correlations between gut microbiome dynamics and hematological parameters, shedding light on the mechanisms that bridge these two complex systems and the potential implications for diagnosis, treatment, and prevention of blood-related diseases.
