Abstract

The current article is a review of the most important, accessible and relevant literature published between April 2022 and March 2023 on the gut microbiota and inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) based on human clinical studies. The major areas of publication during this period were human studies and animal models. There were over 55 relevant articles published in the reporting period.
